Ok, thought I'd get this blog off the ground. Saturday 12th November I joined a group of other photy type people, model and make up artists (known as MUA's in the 'oul photog' industry). The location was Elm Park (http://www.elmpark.ie/). This spot is a real symbol of the recession as it's a vast set of office buildings, some kitted out with no tenents, others still mid construction. Still, it made for a cool place for taking pictures. I brought along Martin Cooke, a 2nd Dan black belt in Kenpo, and one time ninja. There were a lot more photographers to models so I concentrated on using Martin for the day and headed off to the areas still under construction.

Similar light setup to above just lowered the flashes.

We then moved on to one of the stairwells that were still being fitted out so just concrete basically. I wanted to create a image of a ninja stalking up the stairs to some victim. MC donned the ninja mask and away we went.

1 SB900 snooted, on a stand on next level pointing directly downwards.

All in all, it was good fun and the group are planning another session for December.

Welcome

Welcome lads, I decided to set up a blog that we could use rather than emailing all the time. It might be a better forum so let's see how it pans out.

Firstly, let's get a better picture to put at the header than my stupid (but sexy) mug. Please send in your top 2 submissions.
